Blessed beyond measure as a wife, mother, and educator, I seek to serve others so they may also enjoy the fullness of life God provides. My husband, Kenneth, and I have been married for 12 years and have two handsome boys Daniel and Joshua, ages 5 and 3. I pursued an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and continued to study cognitive development with a Master’s degree. I later became a Certified Cognitive Trainer, enabling me to serve children with learning disabilities so they could reach a higher potential than imagined. Professionally, I have worked in different realms of Education for over 15 years, through many Administrative and Student Services roles, starting with adult learners through preschool learners.

Crossview Church has been our home since 2011 when my husband and I finally settled down to start a family after he honorably discharged from the Military. Through my time here, I have served in almost every ministry but really found my calling with the Preschool/Children’s Team and on the Praise & Worship Team. After my second son was born in 2015, God began a strong tug at my heart to become more connected to His ministry at Kingdom Cubs, so I resigned from the corporate world, trusting God to provide as I began working in His preschool mission field. I taught the 2-year-old class for three years, then led music and chapel for a year, serving as the Special Programs’ Director for the Christmas Musical and Pre-K Graduation, and this year I moved into Administration as the Academy Records Specialist. Now, it is my honor to be called on once again as the Interim Director as God moves in the Kingdom Cubs Academy Program.

I do believe that our preschool program is a true mission, serving the entire family with Christ’s love as we help these precious little ones grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. My passion for creative development drives a desire to help teachers reach their maximum potential through innovative teaching techniques while my heart for children’s ministry brings enthusiasm and a genuine fun-loving spirit allowing trust relationships to develop between myself, teachers, students, and families. It is my pleasure assisting your family to connect within the Kingdom Cubs Academy and I look forward to meeting you!

Jesus said to them,

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.   Mark 10:14-16
